Roy has entertained, informed and inspired audiences around the world for more than 25 years. Author of the popular books, Never Beat the Boss at Horseshoes and The Care and Keeping of Customers, as well as numerous programs on personal development and goal setting, Roy decided in 2010 to finally pursue a goal he imagined as a precocious eight year old -- to be an ice cream man! One of Roy's favorites quotations is, "Coincidence is God's way of staying anonymous." He feels that it was a "God thing" and not coincidence that brought Roy and Keith Schroeder, co-founder of High Road Craft Ice Cream and Sorbet, together in the Fall of 2010. As a High Road investor and "Executive Ice Cream Escort," Roy continues to attempt to fulfill what he identified as his life's purpose over 30 years ago: "To use my optimism and enthusiasm to teach and inspire others, so that the world of all those whose lives I touch, directly and indirectly, will be a better one." Additionally, since 2007 Roy has presented his acclaimed reading of Dickens' immortal A Christmas Carol to audiences around the country. This remarkable performance is available on compact disc.
